Waking Up

It is already after 10am and I just woke up. I hate waking up late. It seems as if I've slept half the day away. And yes, 10am is late to me. I'm used to being up at 6:30am with the chickens. But I suppose that going to bed at 1am or so didn't help either. And on top of that, it is already getting hot outside. Have I told you that I hate the hot weather? Last summer was not this hot here in VT. Oh well...guess I'll hit the lake today and hopefully, things will be better there.

And on the other side of things, I have been purchasing items to help with my solitary practitioner-ness. I bought a new alter cloth and a new besom to hang over my door. What I really need to get is a BOS as I forget things rather easily if I don't have them written down. The "leader" for the group that I attend also wants me to write a journal. Does this count? ;)
